WS #28: He sells seashells by the seashore

He sells seashells

There's no denying summer is here! School's out and it's getting hot, hot hot! So it's off to the beach we went. There was a lot of eating and lazing around on the beach with cold beers. I hope you all had a great weekend too! :)

This photo I took at the beach is my entry for this week's Weekend Snapshot. Check out the other entries here and maybe submit your own weekend photo to share with us. :)

Those are big seashells! Summer is really here already. It is so hot and even wearing skimpy clothing makes you sweat profusely.

Happy WS!

Those shells are huge! Wonder how much they cost. They would look nice on my display shelf.

Oh Lynn, I'm avoiding the resorts for those reasons! Hope you have a nice weekend. :)

They're very pretty indeed, napaboaniya. Though I wondered how he got them and if he had the proper permits for picking them out of the reefs and then selling them.

Yup, it's gonna start getting very uncomfortable outside! Happy WS to you too, sasha. :)

You know, eastcoastlife, I forgot to ask! I'm curious now too. Because shells of that size can command quite a hefty price.

Those shells are gorgeous, but is it alright to sell them?

Happy WS.

Hi Sandy and Liza! They're really gorgeous aren't they? There was lots of them at the beach that day so I suppose it was alright to sell them. I hope there's some kind of control measures in place though.

Gorgeous pic! Maybe he is allowed to pick and sell them but it is not allowed to import them here in Holland. Ahum (looking at the shell on the shelf in my bedroom) I swear I did't know that when I bought one so many years ago!

I know, lucky guy huh?! Thanks for dropping by, willthink4wine!

Haha hi Karen! So nice to see you! :) I wouldn't worry about that shell, I'm sure most types can be exported from here. Happy Easter! :)
